One of my latest adventures was going down Blacksburg to watch a ACC Cycling Meet.  My husband races for University of Maryland and it was his next to last race as a Terp. It was a two day race hosted by Virginia Tech.We packed up Q and all her stuff and put the bike in the back of the Ford Escape.  It turns out it was a good thing that we don’t yet have a bike rack for the Escape and that we have Virginia plates.  o­n the way to the race o­n Sunday, the local police had a field day.  Basically if you had a bike o­n your car and out of state plates, you got a $150+ speeding ticket.  Let’s just say there were a lot of pissed off guys in Spandex that day.

I used to play with Fractint back when it was a DOS program. I’d leave my computer resolving some complicated Mandal for days at a time on that old ‘286. Sadly, the application languished pretty much since the release of Windows.

I was digging for a newer version of the Gallery program when I so that somebody’s making really cool Fractal art again with this program called UltraFractal.

So, Friday night I watched Joe Dirt. Evil Bastard had recommended it to me, so I figured I’d give it a try, despite my worries of it being another MOD. Hencewith is my review.
