I really didn’t mean all that stuff that I said before the war about how Saddam should Join NATO and then open casinos, turning Iraq into the Las Vegas of the Middle East. It was satire, honestly. Anyway, he didn’t follow my advice and look what happened.

Why the sudden paranoia?

The people who signed a contract to buy our house backed out. They were able to do it without penalty since they didn’t pick up the HOA documents until yesterday, and they had three days after document receipt to drop their contract without penalty.

So - it goes back on the market tomorrow, for $5k more asking price then last time. I can see that tonight will be a return to the hours of cleanup and back to having nothing on the counters.
