Ok, I’ve been meaning to post on this before, but free community wireless Internet Access is up in my area of South Riding.
Well, I did a test with a neighbor who’s only two houses away from me, and that works ok, so I’ll be hooking them up as soon as I get a PCI/ISA to PCMCIA convertor.

Free wireless internet will (with a little bit of luck) start tomorrow evening in South Riding.
Since I didn’t know anything about the different manufacturers of cards and how well they work, I posted my question on NovaWireless. Answers below.
Alright kids, wireless internet is coming to South Riding. I’ve just ordered my LinkSys WAP11, and it should be here in about a week.
