So, the last firmware from Boxee totally killed my unit to the point that it wouldn’t get past the initial splash screen. Since my boxee was less than a year old, Dlink agreed to replace it. They wanted me to send back everything that originally came with it – but I’d thrown out the original CD/manual when I tossed out the box some couple months ago. Since I didn’t have the CD – Boxee charged me $12. It’s not a huge amount, but it’s a rip off for a CD that costs maybe a quarter in bulk. At this point I’m just insulted and will probably stay away from DLink/Boxee products from now on.
