I’d skip Public Citizen

A while ago, I donated some money to Public Citizen – a group that was working to support a blogger that was receiving threats of lawsuit from somebody who didn’t like unpleasant (but potentially accurate) things said about them. I didn’t know that would translate to me receiving a weekly newsletter in my (physical) mailbox with rants about medical companies. Also – Public Citizen says they don’t sell their member list – but around the same time I suddenly started receiving a bunch of ‘political action’ mail, requesting donations and etc. So – I’d skip donating to this group in the future.
