What happened to “no one is above the law”?

“WASHINGTON – President Bush effectively blocked a Justice Department investigation of the National Security Agency’s warrantless surveillance program, refusing to give security clearances to attorneys who were attempting to conduct the probe, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Tuesday.”

    It’s only a matter of time before enough people in Congress wake up and impeach that guy.

    Contrast it with the farcical “Clinton Impeachment” — Clinton gets impeached over his personal life, meanwhile Bush gets away with whatever he wants.

    So much for checks and balances.
