Why youtube has been very slow? – Google Groups

Using Google Chrome, open the ‘Developers Tools’ (Menu Button > Tools > Developer Tools or Shift+Ctrl+I) and open tab ‘Network’. Point your browser to www.youtube.com, play a video and watch the item ’videoplayback’. It shows the hostname the video is actually downloaded from. Please update this thread with the hostname shown there.

If you could click on the ‘videoplayback’ item and send the Request URL field, it is also helpful.

Please access this URL:

http://redirector.c.youtube.com/report_mapping

It will tell you where the videos will be served from at that moment in time.
